Superjakki

Superjakki is a specialized plate fitter’s tool used as a pulling device for heavy-duty straightening and alignment tasks, with a maximum rated pulling capacity of 20 tonnes. Custom mounting lugs are manufactured for each application and welded to the workpiece. Superjakki reaches its maximum operating force when a 750 mm lever is fully actuated. If additional external forces from the steel structure act on the installed Superjakki, the mounting lug or its fastening bolt (M24, grade 8.8) is designed to fail at approximately 42 tonnes, without causing damage to the tool itself. The Superjakki frame will begin to deform at approximately 50 tonnes of pulling force, at which point the slots may start to open. Used in shipbuilding and heavy steel structure installation.
