Pulldog

Pulldog is a pull conversion tool used in steel structure installation to convert pushing force into pulling force.

Pulldog converts the pushing force of a standard mechanical jack into pulling force. It can be used with a suitable hydraulic cylinder or with mechanical jacks from manufacturers such as Osaka Jack, Holmatro, Atico, or equivalent. The recommended maximum jack force is 25 tonnes. Pulldog is a cost-effective alternative to dedicated hydraulic pulling devices and is particularly suited for heavy block installation and alignment tasks. Used in shipbuilding and heavy steel structure installation.
