Jakki is a plate fitting tool designed for pulling and pushing during steel structure installation in shipyards.

Jakki is a versatile plate fitter’s tool for pulling and pushing during steel structure installation. Its compact, lightweight design makes it easy to use in confined spaces and for single-person operation. Jakki enables fast and efficient installation of bulkheads and frames. It is attached by lightly welding mounting lugs to the workpieces, which are removed after use by twisting or striking them off. Note: In case of overload (e.g. excessive lever length), the mounting lug or bolt will fail at approximately 15 tonnes, protecting the tool from damage. Used in shipbuilding and heavy steel structure installation.
